Admins

Running an instance's settings from the web page: who gets an account, which other instances you connect with, and how the instance looks. You are an admin when your identity provider puts you in the admin group (vibe-live-admins unless the operator chose another name), or when your account was created as one with vibe-live admin create --admin.

Admin settings are in Settings, under Admin settings.

• People -- who can get an account, approving newcomers, removing an account.
• Federation -- connecting with other instances: streams and chat, each direction on its own, and visitors signing in.
• The instance -- name, icon, theme, the identity provider, past broadcasts (and moderating them), and what the media engine can do here.
• Multistreaming -- letting streamers go live on Twitch and YouTube too: registering the applications, and keeping their accounts safe.

What an admin cannot do from the page -- choose the media engine, the video qualities, the ports -- belongs to whoever runs the server: see Operators.
